1. About These Terms
These Terms of Use apply to your use of www.mega-music-publisher.com, including its text, curriculum information, music, recordings, scores, worksheets, graphics, downloads and other resources.
The website is operated by:
Rainer Langhans, trading as Mega Music / IMPACT

Email: info@mega-music-publishing.com
By using this website, purchasing access or accessing an IMPACT resource, you agree to these Terms of Use.
2. Website Information
The publicly accessible sections of this website provide information about Mega Music, the IMPACT framework, curriculum pathways, educational resources and related services.
Viewing curriculum descriptions, resource lists or sample pages does not grant permission to use, copy, download or distribute the complete IMPACT resources.
Website content may be updated, revised or withdrawn as the curriculum and its supporting materials continue to develop.
3. Purchasing Resources
IMPACT curriculum materials, worksheets, scores, recordings, instrument books, teacher resources and related materials must be purchased or accessed through an authorised licence unless they are expressly identified as free samples.
Purchasing a resource grants the purchaser a limited licence to use it for the educational purpose and users specified at the time of purchase. It does not transfer ownership or copyright.
Access may be provided through:
-
an individual teacher licence;
-
a school or department licence;
-
a multi-school or organisational licence;
-
another written agreement issued by Mega Music.
The resources included, number of authorised users, duration of access and permitted forms of use may vary according to the licence purchased.
4. Permitted Educational Use
Purchased resources may be used only by the individual, school, department or organisation covered by the applicable licence.
Subject to the licence purchased, authorised teachers may:
-
use the resources in their own teaching;
-
display materials during lessons;
-
provide authorised students with the materials required for their learning;
-
print reasonable classroom copies;
-
adapt editable materials for legitimate teaching within the licensed school;
-
use scores, worksheets and recordings for rehearsals, assessment and classroom activities.
Any adaptation must remain within the licensed educational setting and must retain relevant copyright notices and acknowledgements.
Permission to use a resource does not include permission to publish, resell or distribute it outside the authorised licence.
5. Sample Materials
Any resource expressly identified as a sample may be viewed or downloaded for evaluation purposes.
Unless otherwise stated, sample materials may not be:
-
used as a substitute for purchasing the complete resource;
-
distributed to other schools or organisations;
-
uploaded to public websites or shared drives;
-
resold or included in another commercial product;
-
altered and republished under another name.
6. Prohibited Use
Unless expressly authorised in writing, users may not:
-
access paid materials without purchasing or receiving authorised access;
-
share account details, passwords or restricted download links;
-
share resources outside the licensed school, department or organisation;
-
sell, sublicense or commercially redistribute IMPACT resources;
-
upload materials to public websites, social-media platforms or file-sharing services;
-
reproduce complete resource collections for another person or organisation;
-
remove copyright notices, credits or identifying information;
-
present IMPACT materials as their own original work;
-
modify and republish resources under another name;
-
use IMPACT content to create a competing commercial curriculum or resource collection;
-
use automated systems to collect, copy or distribute website content or resources.
Unauthorised access, copying or distribution may result in the suspension or termination of access and may constitute copyright infringement.
7. School and Organisational Licences
A school licence applies only to the school, department, campus or organisation identified in the relevant invoice, quotation or licence agreement.
Unless the agreement states otherwise, a school licence does not permit:
-
use by another school within the same group;
-
use across multiple campuses;
-
sharing with external teachers or tutors;
-
publication on an unrestricted school website;
-
transfer of the licence to another organisation.
Schools requiring broader access should contact Mega Music to arrange an appropriate licence.
8. Accounts and Access
Where access is provided through an online account, the account holder is responsible for protecting their login information.
Account details may not be shared with unauthorised users. Mega Music may suspend access where there is evidence of account sharing, unauthorised distribution, non-payment or other misuse.
Access periods, renewal conditions and continuing rights to downloaded materials are determined by the licence or purchase agreement.
9. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the original text, curriculum materials, musical works, arrangements, scores, recordings, worksheets, graphics, branding and other resources are protected by copyright.
These materials remain the intellectual property of Mega Music, IMPACT, Rainer Langhans or the relevant identified rights holder.
The names Mega Music and IMPACT, together with their associated branding and curriculum identity, may not be used to represent another product, programme or organisation without prior written permission.
Further information is provided on the Rights & Licensing page.
10. Third-Party Music and Content
Some resources may refer to musical works, recordings, composers, publishers, examination boards or other third-party content.
The copyright and trademarks associated with third-party material remain the property of their respective owners. References are provided for legitimate educational, descriptive or analytical purposes and do not imply ownership.
Schools, teachers and users remain responsible for obtaining any additional permissions required for public performances, recordings, broadcasts or uses extending beyond ordinary classroom activity.
11. Examination Boards
References to Cambridge IGCSE, IB or other curricula and qualifications describe the educational context in which IMPACT resources may be used.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Mega Music and IMPACT are independent and are not affiliated with, approved by or endorsed by the relevant examination boards.
Teachers and schools should consult the current official syllabus, regulations and assessment guidance issued by the relevant organisation.
12. Payments and Separate Agreements
Prices, payment arrangements, access periods and services will be stated in the relevant quotation, invoice, order confirmation or licence agreement.
Where a separate written agreement exists, its specific terms take precedence over these general Terms of Use.
Any applicable cancellation, withdrawal or refund rights will be determined by the purchase arrangements and mandatory provisions of the applicable law.
13. Accuracy and Availability
Reasonable care is taken to ensure that the information and educational materials provided are accurate and useful.
However, Mega Music cannot guarantee that:
-
every page or resource will always be available;
-

Teachers remain responsible for exercising professional judgement and adapting teaching appropriately to their students and educational context.
14. External Links
The website may contain links to external websites, cloud-storage services, videos, recordings and third-party resources.
Mega Music is not responsible for the content, availability, security or privacy practices of external services. Users should ensure that external resources and downloads comply with their school’s technical and safeguarding requirements.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Mega Music will not be responsible for indirect or consequential loss resulting from inappropriate use of the resources, interruption of access, reliance on website information or use of external websites.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
16. Privacy
Personal information submitted through the website, purchasing process or contact form is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
Submitting an enquiry does not create a contractual relationship or guarantee access to a resource or service.
