THE MEGA MUSIC STORY

Mega Music was founded by Rainer Langhans in Freilassing, Germany, in the early 1990s as an independent music school with a simple idea: music education should be active, creative and connected to real musical experience. What began with instrumental teaching developed into a broader music and performing arts organisation with ensembles, bands, choirs, concerts and large-scale productions.

As Mega Music grew, its work extended beyond teaching. The organisation became involved in artist support, cultural networking and event planning, creating opportunities for young musicians and bringing together performers, venues and audiences through concerts, festivals and interdisciplinary projects.

The educational work gradually expanded into publishing. Teaching ideas, curriculum materials and practical resources were developed so they could be shared beyond a single classroom or music school.

Today, Mega Music continues through Mega Music Publisher, creating educational resources, digital materials and structured approaches to classroom and ensemble learning.

IMPACT is the latest chapter in that journey — bringing decades of teaching, ensemble work, curriculum development and practical music-making into one educational framework.
